An exciting opportunity has become available for a Financial Accountant to join a successful global manufacturing and wholesale business experiencing continued growth and securing significant recent tenders.
Working as part of a collaborative finance team, this role will suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work while building strong relationships across the wider business. You'll play a key role in financial reporting, month-end and maintaining accurate financial information, while partnering with both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
Preparing month-end journals, accruals and prepayments
Balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger
Supporting monthly financial and management reporting
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Preparing and reviewing financial information to ensure accuracy
Supporting audit, tax and statutory reporting requirements
Working closely with operational and commercial stakeholders across the business




Supporting process improvements and driving efficiencies within finance
Assisting with ad hoc reporting and analysis as required

What you'll need to succeed
We’re looking for someone who brings strong accounting capability but, equally importantly, is collaborative, approachable and a confident communicator.
Previous experience as a Financial Accountant
Strong understanding of month-end and financial reporting
Manufacturing, wholesale, distribution or inventory-based industry experience highly regarded
Strong Excel skills and experience working with an ERP system
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A proactive, team-focused approach with a willingness to support the wider business
