My client, a worldwide manufacturer, requires a maintenance fitter paying up to $65ph + super/penalties.

Your new company

My client is a world-leading beverage manufacturer and requires a maintenance fitter for a temporary role with the possibility of a permanent position.

Your new role

Your role, within the maintenance team, your role will be a key role providing support and customer service across both the production and maintenance departments.

Duties will include:
Preventative maintenance of beverage plant equipment
Breakdown maintenance
Preventive maintenance
Fabrication and repair of current and old parts
Machining of current parts and repair of old parts
Reporting of all works using the CMMS (Maximo)
Attend training on site and off site as required
Attend pre-start meeting daily
Training of apprentices as required

What you'll need to succeed
Certificate III or IV in engineering mechanical fitting and/or turning
Beverage or FMCG process knowledge and experience
A solid understanding of processing and packaging in FMCG, including local and industry trends.
High level process improvement skills (root cause analysis, FMECA, process improvements & corrective actions)




Restricted electrical licence desirable
Fabrication experience
Lathe and mill experience desirable
Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one
Working at heights and confined space trained
Be forward-thinking and able to work autonomously
Team player with robust safety focus
Critical thinking and planning
An ability to consistently achieve results and deliver on promises
Computer-literate

What you'll get in return

The role will pay between $48-$52ph + super/penalties and while it will be a temporary role, there is a possibility it will lead into a permanent role.
