Key Responsibilities
Read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for projects
Select and prepare metal stock
Cut marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools and machinery




Bend metal components and pipes using different techniques
Align components using callipers, rulers, etc. and clamp pieces
Inspect and evaluate welds for bead quality, penetration, accuracy, and overall precision.
Finish fabricated products through cleaning, polishing, filing, and chemical treatment.
Smooth and refine welds by filing, chiselling, and grinding to meet required quality standards
Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

Requirements
AQF Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent or relevant experience
1 -2 years of work experience
Fabrication skills in Steel, (solid wire) and/or Aluminium Welding, MIG/TIG
Ability to meet production schedule deadlines and consistently produce high quality workmanship whilst maintaining a protected workplace setting
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
