We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Full time or Part-time Receptionist to be part of a fast-paced environment and a welcoming face to our clients and their pets!

Our much-loved customer care team are the integral front-line of our entire hospital, and as such, are busy, busy, busy! The successful candidate will be critical in ensuring our clients receive outstanding customer service. You will be dedicated, conscientious, with a genuine love for animalsand effective in your written and verbal communication with clients and other hospital staff.

About your role:
Permanent Full-time or Part-time roles available
A range of shifts, 6am - 4pm, 7am - 5pm, 8am - 6pm, 9am - 7pm, 11am - 9pm, 12pm - 10pm, 1pm - 11pm including occasional weekends and public holidays
Handling a high volume of inbound calls and email enquiries
Managing all client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy
Welcoming clients and their pets to the hospital
Booking and managing appointments
Invoicing and taking payments - including cash and EFTPOS




Processing payments on Vetpay, Zippay and Afterpay
Coordinating with other hospital departments to ensure seamless client experiences
Data entry and requesting documents from referring vets and clients
Liaising with referring vets
Ad-hoc administrative duties

About you:
Proven experience in a client services role, preferably in a healthcare or veterinary setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Adaptable and takes initiative, this role requires you to be able to multitask and have a proactive attitude
Attention to detail
Strong conflict resolution skills
A calm and empathetic approach to your work
A passion for delivering outstanding client service
Enjoy working in an upbeat team setting with some good banter!
