Broken Hill Base Hospital & Health Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Intensive Care Unit on a three-month contract, commencing as soon as possible. Work in a high-acuity ICU setting managing critically ill patients requiring advanced interventions
Three-month contract role, start date ASAP, based in Broken Hill, NSW
Opportunity to apply advanced clinical skills in ventilator management and life support in a supportive team setting

Preferred Requirements
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification




Demonstrated competence and confidence in ventilator management and monitoring
Minimum 12 months of experience working in an intensive care or high-dependency unit
Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to respond quickly to changing patient conditions
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in critical care nursing
Additional certifications in intensive care (such as CICM or equivalent) are advantageous
