Collaborate with global teams and attend daily news meetings to advise on content performance and alignment with strategic goals.Innovation & Development: Monitor emerging trends, support the development and delivery of major news events and digital campaigns.Audience Growth & Editorial Strategy: Drive audience growth and engagement strategies across BBC News' digital and social platforms.
Provide real-time, data-informed insights and translate analytics into actionable editorial strategies to support decision-making.YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEESSENTIAL CRITERIAExperience in delivering and optimising news content to a wide variety of social media platforms, using industry standard toolingProven track record of implementing successful audience growth strategies.Proficiency in analytics tools such as Piano, Chartbeat, Newswhip, Google Trends, and Semrush.Experience in digital newsrooms and understanding of editorial workflows.Excellent communication skills and ability to translate data into editorial action.Strong editorial judgment and audience-first mindset.Please note this role includes regular weekend working.
