Immediate start Accountant opportunity within a energetic industry offering $110k-$130k + superYour new company An established and successful organisation operating within the commodities and agribusiness sector is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team on a long-term fixed-term basis through to Mid-****.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant looking to join a commercially focused business with exposure across financial reporting, compliance, treasury and continuous improvement.Your new role Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting across the business.
This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical accounting capability, attention to detail and the confidence to work autonomously.Your responsibilities will include:Preparation and analysis of financial records and month-end reportingReconciliation of financial systems and investigation and resolution of discrepanciesPreparation of statutory financial information and supporting workpapersSupporting General Purpose Financial Statements in accordance with Australian Accounting StandardsManaging compliance reporting including BAS, FBT and other regulatory requirementsSupporting FX exposure management and treasury-related activitiesMaintaining and improving finance,



compliance and regulatory proceduresContributing to continuous improvement of accounting systems and processesSupporting system implementations and regional finance initiativesAssisting with ad hoc finance projects and broader operational finance requirementsThe position provides exposure to senior management and a trading environment, with a robust blend of technical accounting and commercial finance responsibilities.What you'll need to succeed You will be an experienced Accountant who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and managing competing deadlines.
