This is an opportunity to join a purpose-led business where your technical expertise, process improvement mindset and ability to influence will have a genuine impact on how the finance function continues to evolve.Your new role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing key financial accounting activities, owning the month-end reporting and contributing to continuous improvement across financial processes.Your responsibilities will include:Managing balance sheet reconciliations, profit and loss variance analysis and month-end commentaryMaintaining the fixed asset register and processing manual journals, including monthly accrualsPreparing income tax requirements, including FBT, BAS and annual tax return informationSupporting the annual audit and financial statements processInvestigating and documenting key accounting estimates and judgement areas in line with accounting standardsIdentifying opportunities to improve systems,



processes and controls as the organisation continues to growYou will also support the implementation of a new ERP system and will help to drive change throughout the finance team and wider business.What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will be a CA or CPA qualified accountant with solid technical accounting capability and a genuine interest in process improvement.
You will bring an inquisitive nature, a proactive approach to your work and a genuine interest in improving processes and systems to benefit both the team and the business.
