Job Description An exciting opportunity exists for a technically strong accountant to join a major ERP and billing transformation project as a System Accountant.
This role sits at the intersection of Finance and Technology, acting as the key conduit between Finance, project teams, stakeholders and implementation partners.
You will play a vital role in ensuring accounting and business requirements are translated into effective system outcomes while supporting a successful system implementation.
As the Finance SME, you will contribute across the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, data migration, documentation, training and business readiness activities.
Key Responsibilities Act as the Finance SME for a major Finance & Billing transformation projectTranslate accounting and operational requirements into system functionalityPartner with Finance, IT, project teams and external stakeholdersLead UAT planning, execution and sign-off activitiesSupport data migration, validation and reconciliation processesContribute to solution design and configuration decisionsDevelop procedures, training materials and user documentationSupport go-live readiness and user adoptionDrive continuous improvement across finance processes and controlsProvide support across broader finance activities as required About You CA or CPA qualified (or working towards completion)Solid accounting fundamentalsPrevious Systems Accountant, Finance Systems,
