This is not a replacement role, but a growth role given the increased volume of employment law work.You will be responsible for:Advising employers on a variety of advisory, contentious and strategic workplace matters in employment law, industrial relations law, work health and safety law, and discrimination lawHaving day-to-day conduct of the provision of advicePreparing documents for and attending proceedings in the Fair Work Commission and the Australian Human Rights CommissionDrafting court documents, including affidavits, concise statements,



witness statements, and interlocutory applicationsWorking with and instruct counsel for litigated mattersAdvising high net worth clients regarding their employment law issuesConducting legal research into the latest updates in employment and discrimination lawThe ideal candidate2-5 years PQE in employment, workplace or industrial law, or a related fieldApplicants with strong employment relations or workplace relations experience will be considered (must be admitted, or able to be admitted)Confident and able to communicate with clientsEmpathetic and solid-willedWants ownership of their work and adviceInterested in developing their career in employment law
