They specialize in delivering high quality projects.The Directors are very proud of their company culture and values.POSITIONThe position of Group Financial Controller has been created due to the company looking to internalize their finance function.This role will involve and not be limited to:Work under an experienced team of DirectorsInitially work in a standalone capacity with a view of building out the finance team in the short to medium termPreparation and ongoing management of the company's finance functionLiaising with external accountantsMaintaining relationships with external stakeholders and financial institutionsGroup financial accounting,



project accounting, cashflow and treasury, tax compliance and statutory compliance, Payroll, AP, ARStrategic tax planningGroup structure and entity managementSystems and controlsTransaction supportCANDIDATEThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:CA/CPA Qualified10+ years' accounting experience (minimum of 5 years exposure to the construction + property development industries)Ability to work in an multi entity setting (20+)Experience with complex private group structuresQBCC MFR and development finance reporting experienceStrong experience with GST, Payroll Tax, Div 7A, Land Tax and Tax consolidationsExperience building out a finance teamVery stable employment historyAbility to form strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersEnergetic and motivated personality with great multi-taskingAbility to work under pressure and adhere to deadlinesOutstanding communication and presentation skillsA team player who can roll up their sleeves and get the work doneBENEFITSAbove market salary packageCareer progression on offerExceptional IT systemsAbility to grow with the company
