Join a growing team working on commercial air conditioning projects.We are looking for a Trade Assistant to join our team, assisting with the fabrication and installation of sheet metal air conditioning ductwork.This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in doing things properly, and has a strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem‐solving ability.
Previous experience in sheet metal, construction, air conditioning, manufacturing or a similar trade environment is highly regarded, but we are also open to the right person with the right attitude and aptitude.About the roleWorking alongside experienced tradespeople, you will assist with:Fabrication and assembly of sheet metal air conditioning ductworkCutting, measuring, drilling and fitting sheet metal componentsUsing hand tools and power tools safely and effectivelyLoading, unloading and handling materialsAssisting tradespeople with installation work on commercial building sitesMaintaining a clean, organised and safe work areaFollowing plans,
