Project Manager / Project Coordinator - Manufacturing

Due to continued growth, they are looking for ahands-on Project Manager / Project Coordinatorto join the team.
This is afull-time, permanent role (Monday–Friday), withreasonable overtime required.
Because the projects involved are fast moving and customer-focused, the successful applicantmust be flexibleand willing to work avariety of hours when required, including occasionalout-of-hours calls or problem solving if and when a project requires it.
About the Role
This role sits betweenproject management, site coordination and logistics.
You will work closely with production, clients and site teams to ensure projects run smoothly from planning through to completion.
The position ishands-on and practical, ideal for someone who understands how worksites operate and enjoys solving problems and keeping projects moving.
Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating projects from planning through to delivery
Liaising withclients and internal teamsto manage timelines and expectations
Planning logistics and ensuringequipment, materials and components arrive where needed
Measuring and checking requirementswhere needed to support projects
Monitoring project budgets usingsimple spreadsheets
Ensuring project documentation and records are maintained
Beingforward-thinking and proactive, identifying issues before they arise
Working closely with the production team to ensure projects are delivered correctly




Final checks on project trailersto ensure all required equipment and additional items are loaded before dispatch
Occasionaltravel to Brisbane - around once per fortnight
About You
This role may suit someone who hascome from a trade backgroundand is looking to move into a coordination or management role while still remaining involved in the practical side of projects.
You will ideally bring:
Atrade or technical background(highly regarded)
A good understanding ofhow work sites operate
Stronglogistics thinking and problem-solving ability
The ability tothink outside the boxand remain calm when plans change
Amethodical and organised approach
Confidence working withbudget spreadsheets and basic IT systems
Strongcommunication and client management skills
The ability to befirm but professional, setting realistic expectations with clients
Athick skin and practical mindsetwhen dealing with challenges
The ability toadapt to a customer's pace while maintaining control of the project
A proactive attitude with the ability toanticipate issues rather than simply reacting to them
