Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Moorabool.
This role will play a key part in month-end reporting, reconciliations, cashflow, compliance and financial analysis, while supporting the wider finance team and helping improve financial processes across the business.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyse financial statements in accordance with Australian accounting standards.
Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Lead, mentor and coach three direct reports ensuring effective delivery across their areas of responsibility.
Maintain strong financial controls and compliance across finance processes.
Support inventory control and manufacturing cost analysis, providing meaningful insights into production and business performance.
Manage key reconciliations, cashflow reporting and forecasting to support accurate and timely financial reporting.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights for financial planning.
Provide mentorship and guidance to the wider finance team, fostering a collaborative team environment.
About you .
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA) is essential.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on financial reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn financial information into meaningful business insights.




Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
Advanced Excel skills and confidence working across accounting and ERP systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach and the ability to mentor both direct reports and others across the business.
