Narromine Preschool is seeking a passionate and experienced centre Director to lead the service on a full-time basis as both centre Director and Nominated Supervisor.
You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality early learning and care, supporting a positive team culture, and building strong relationships with children, families, staff, and the local community.
You'll lead day-to-day operations while ensuring alignment with the National Quality Framework, National Law Regulations and Child Safe Standards.
This is a full-time non-teaching role requiring strong verbal and written communication skills and strong computer skills.
Key responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations of the preschool
Ensure alignment with the National Quality Framework, National Law Regulations and Child Safe Standards
Support a positive team culture
Build strong relationships with children, families, staff, and the local community
Ensure high-quality early childhood education
Uphold the NSW Child Safe Standards and the Preschools Child Safe Code of Conduct
About you
Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education with at least 2 years leadership/Director experience
Strong understanding of the Early Years Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards, Compliance and Regulations
Current First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis training certificates




Completed CHCPRT025 Child Protection or willingness to obtain
Completed Child Safety Foundation and Advanced Geckko training
Working with Children Check (NSW) and clear compliance history
NESA Accreditation as a Proficient Teacher
Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills
Experience with leading a service centre through Assessment & Rating processes
Understanding of State Government Funding and Budgeting
HR knowledge of relevant awards and leave entitlements as well as staff performance management
