This is a part-time role on a rotating roster, with a genuine pathway to full time work for the right person.This position would suit an experienced forklift operator who is confident working in a warehouse environment and has the skill and judgement to safely manoeuvre a variety of different loads.About the RoleThis is not a "forklift only" position.
You will be part of our warehouse operations team and will be responsible for safely moving customer storage boxes, pallets and goods around the facility.Your responsibilities will include:Safely operating counterbalance forklifts and multi-directional counterbalance forkliftsMoving 10 cubic metre storage boxes in and out of warehouse stacks, weighing up to 2 tonneLoading, unloading and relocating pallets and other items weighing up to 3 tonneManoeuvring large storage boxes/pallets safely in confined warehouse areasUsing a warehouse app on a tablet or smartphone to manage job updates and stock movementsCommunicating with office staff, drivers and customersFollowing all workplace health and safety procedures and company policiesWorking across a rotating roster, including weekend shifts.What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is an experienced and highly competent forklift operator, rather than someone who simply holds a forklift licence.
Experience in self-storage, mobile-storage, logistics,
