An exciting prospect has arisen for a Senior Legal Counsel specialising in Litigation & Disputes to join an international financial services business on a 12-month fixed-term basis.This is a dedicated disputes and litigation role within a high performing legal team.
You will work alongside another Senior Legal Counsel at the same level who also specialises in litigation.About the roleManage a range of litigation and disputes, from smaller day-to-day matters through to more significant litigationWork closely with external litigation firms and legal advisersProvide practical, commercially focused legal advice to the businessPartner with stakeholders across the organisationManage matters autonomously and exercise sound commercial judgementAbout youWe are looking for a technically strong litigation/disputes lawyer who is commercial, pragmatic and comfortable working in a quick-paced environment.




You will have:Strong litigation and disputes experienceExcellent technical legal skills and sound judgementA practical and commercial approach to legal adviceThe ability to work autonomously and manage competing prioritiesStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsIn-house experience is preferred, however strong private practice candidates will also be considered.
Financial services experience would be highly relevant.12-month fixed-term contract covering parental leaveFull-time but would consider part-time candidates (4 days per week)5 days per week in the office with ad hoc wfhBusy, entrepreneurial and collaborative environment
