Leading the site team and working closely with the client, consultants and subcontractors, you will manage program, budget, quality and safety to bring the project in on time and to the standard our clients expect.You will be the main point of contact for the project, making the day to day decisions that keep it moving and escalating the ones that need support from the wider Mettle team.What You'll DoAs Project Manager, you will:Develop and manage the project program, sequencing trades,



deliveries and inspections to keep the project on trackLead site meetings and coordinate the project team and other site staffOversee subcontractor and supplier performance, resolving issues as they ariseAct as the primary point of contact for the client and consultants, managing expectations and communication throughout deliveryOwn the project budget, including cost control, forecasting and monthly commercial reporting, working closely with the Contract AdministratorReview and approve variations, progress claims and contractual correspondenceMonitor compliance with safety, quality and environmental requirements across the siteIdentify and manage project risks, escalating issues that need support from senior managementManage practical completion, defects rectification and project close outWhat You'll BringYou are an experienced construction professional who is comfortable owning the delivery of a project and leading the team around it.
You will also bring:5+ years' experience delivering commercial construction projects in a Project Management roleStrong understanding of construction programming, budgeting and cost controlStrong understanding of head contracts and subcontract administration, including standard form contractsDegree-qualified in Construction Management, Engineering,



Building or a related disciplineProven ability to lead, motivate and develop project teamsStrong risk management skills, with the ability to make decisions under pressureStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to represent Mettle to clients and consultantsProficiency in project scheduling software, such as MS Project and the Microsoft Office suiteExperience using project management and reporting software, with Jobpac experience highly regardedCurrent driver's licence and White CardWHY JOIN US?
