Our client is a growing Australian healthcare group operating integrated clinic and dispensary businesses.
With a lean, hands on finance function led by the CFO, they are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to take ownership of the dispensary accounts and partner closely with the clinic business.Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a highly visible role with direct exposure to leadership.
It suits a technically robust accountant who enjoys owning the month end, tightening processes and working alongside operational stakeholders to improve commercial outcomes.About the RoleMonth end proceduresManage weekly sell through invoicing and reconciliation back to the head entityPartner with the clinic business on budgeting, forecasting and process improvementProduce month end financials with commentary for senior managementReconcile GL and balance sheet accounts,



and cross check operational data for integrityReview and approve the weekly AP run and process ABA files for creditor paymentsReview and approve payroll submissions, payroll tax workings and lodgementsManage monthly tax complianceLead year end audit support and liaise with external auditorsIdentify and implement systems improvements and automationTrain and support team members as requiredAbout YouCPA or CA qualified, or near completionMinimum 5 years' experience in a similar roleStrong month end, reconciliations and balance sheet experienceExperience with Xero; exposure to Airtable highly regardedA genuine aptitude for systems improvement and automationConfident communicator, able to build credibility with stakeholders at all levelsComfortable working autonomously and as part of a small teamWhat's on OfferDirect exposure to the CFO and leadership teamA true business partnering role, not just a numbers roleScope to shape processes and systems in a growing business
