Project Engineer – Asphalt | Transport for NSW$1,000 per day + SuperGovernment contract until 30 April ****Full time hours - 40 hours per weekBased in Russell Vale, NSW, with regular site travelTransport vehicle provided for work-related travelAbout the RoleWorking within Transport for NSW, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering asphalt roadworks and maintenance projects, ensuring safety, quality, budget and project deadlines are achieved.Key ResponsibilitiesManage asphalt roadworks and maintenance projects from planning through to completion.Oversee contractors and ensure projects meet time, cost, quality and scope requirements.Prepare project briefs, cost estimates, technical specifications and contract documentation.Coordinate investigations, designs, procurement and construction activities.Monitor project progress, budgets, resources and contractor performance.Liaise with stakeholders, contractors and internal TfNSW teams.Ensure compliance with WHS,



environmental and quality standards.About YouEssential RequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.Previous experience delivering civil infrastructure or road construction projects.Current unrestricted driver's licence.Construction White Card.Willingness to obtain a Traffic Control ticket.Ability to work onsite five days per week and travel between multiple project sites.Willingness to complete mandatory TfNSW Working on Foot (WOF) requirements prior to commencement.Highly DesirablePrevious experience in asphalt construction, resurfacing or road maintenance projects.Experience working with Transport for NSW, local councils or other government road authorities.Strong contractor management, project delivery and stakeholder engagement skills.
