The City of Marion seeks an Assistant Building Official to support the Building Official in administering and enforcing building, electrical, plumbing and mechanical codes, review plans, inspect construction, and liaise with contractors and the public.The role requires ICC certifications, the ability to supervise, prepare records, and coordinate with other city departments; candidates should have high school diploma and six years' experience (three with degree).
