The Townsville RSL is seeking a full time Finance Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department.
This is a hands‐on finance leadership role suited to an accomplished finance professional with demonstrated experience across financial management, reporting and compliance.Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Club's financial operations and ensuring accurate, timely and compliant financial management.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing accurate and timely monthly financial reports for the BoardProcessing payroll and superannuation accurately and within required timeframesPreparing and monitoring annual budgetsCompleting BAS and GST reportingManaging accounts payable and accounts receivableCompleting bank and credit card reconciliationsLiaising with auditors, financial institutions,



insurers and other external stakeholdersMonitoring food and labour costs and providing financial insights to managementTracking cash flow and preparing cash flow forecastsCoordinating and finalising end-of-month stocktakesProviding financial advice and support to the General Manager and BoardEnsuring financial processes, controls and reporting requirements are maintained to a high standardAbout YouQualified, with 5+ years' relevant experience in a finance or accounting roleDemonstrated experience in financial management and reportingStrong attention to detail, accuracy and a high level of financial integrityThe ability to work independently, prioritise competing deadlines and take ownership of responsibilitiesStrong computer skills and confidence working with accounting and financial systemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to analyse financial information and provide clear, practical advice to managementHospitality, club or similar industry experience is highly desirable
