You'll work across:media relations and public affairsadvocacy and member communicationssocial media and LinkedIn contentissues management and reputation supportevent communications and stakeholder engagementYou'll partner closely with senior leaders and subject matter experts to deliver timely, strategic and audience-focused communications that make an impact.Reporting to the Deputy Executive Director, Queensland, you'll play a key role in delivering communications that support the Queensland Division's advocacy priorities and member activity.Key Responsibilitieswrite media releases, statements, briefing notes and talking points, including news articlesdevelop advocacy alerts, member updates and stakeholder communicationsidentify media opportunities and support proactive and reactive communications activityhelp translate policy issues into accessible and persuasive messagescontribute to events content and member engagement before, during and after eventsprovide support in managing committeessupport issues management and reputational communications when neededAbout youYou're a strong communications professional with excellent judgement, a sharp eye for detail and the ability to work confidently across multiple priorities.You'll bring:proven experience in media, communications,



public affairs, policy or a related fieldexceptional writing and editing skills across a range of channelsexperience producing media releases, social content, member communications and advocacy materialthe ability to distil complex information into clear, engaging messagesstrong stakeholder management skills and a collaborative working stylesound understanding of media, digital communications and storytellinga proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentWhat you'll need3+ years' experience in media, communications, public affairs, policy or a similar rolea relevant degree in communications, journalism, public relations, public policy or similarwillingness to work outside standard business hours from time to timeability to travel interstate occasionallyStrong understanding of the property sector is preferredAnd what else?
