Pacific Harbour Golf & Country Club is looking for a Full Time Commis Chef.
At Pacific Harbour Golf & Country Club, we take pride in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our patrons.
With a energetic menu and a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients, our kitchen is an important part of our club's overall services — and we're looking for a talented Chef to jooin the team.
Key responsibilities
Assist the Sous Chef / Head Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen
Prepare, cook and present high quality dishes
Prepare and store food ensuring stock rotation and control is maintained
Ensure overall cleanliness and presentation of the kitchen
Ensure compliance with food hygiene and workplace health and safety practices
Care and maintenance of kitchen and equipment
Monitor portion and waste control
Train and/or supervise other kitchen staff
Assist Sous Chef / Head Chef with menu planning, weekly tasks,



stocktake and maintaining department budget, where required
About you
2 years' experience in a high-volume establishment as a Chef
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
Working knowledge of food safety and WH&S; principles
Be a reliable team member and have great attention to detail
Must be available to work a flexible 7 day roster, including Friday and Saturday night dining
