This is a part-time position that offers flexibility whilst maintaining a consistent presence across our nursery and toddler rooms.
As a Float Educator, you will provide essential support to our permanent staff, ensuring continuity of care and high-quality programming for our youngest learners.
Your role is critical in maintaining our commitment to providing safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate experiences for infants and toddlers in our care.Key responsibilitiesProvide direct care and supervision to infants and toddlers, including nappy changing, feeding, and rest time supportPlan and implement age-appropriate learning experiences and play-based activities aligned with the Early Years Learning FrameworkMaintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment, adhering to all health and safety regulationsBuild positive relationships with children and families, communicating regularly about development and progressSupport room leaders and permanent educators across nursery and toddler rooms as requiredObserve and document children's development and learning to inform future programmingCollaborate with the team to maintain consistent routines and practices across the centreComply with all policies, procedures, and legislative requirements,



including duty of care and child protection obligationsWhat we're looking forCurrent Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent recognised qualificationCurrent First Aid and CPR certification appropriate for childcare settingsCurrent Working with Children Check (Blue Card) for QueenslandDemonstrated experience working with infants and toddlers in an early learning environmentStrong understanding of child development and age-appropriate practiceExcellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and familiesFlexibility and adaptability to work across different rooms and with various team membersA genuine passion for early childhood education and commitment to creating inclusive, welcoming environmentsPhysical capability to meet the demands of the role, including lifting, bending, and prolonged standingWhat we offerLittle World Early Learning Centres is committed to supporting the wellbeing and professional development of our team.
