We are seeking a proactive and team-oriented Trades Assistant to join our Asset Maintenance Team in Capalaba on a permanent, full-time basis.
Capalaba is a suburb located in the Redland City area, about ***** km east-southeast of Brisbane CBD with a typical travel time of around 35 minutes by car.
The Trades Assistant plays a key support role within the Asset Maintenance Team by assisting tradespeople across mechanical, infrastructure, panel, and cleaning functions to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance of the bus fleet and our Depot.About UsAt Transdev, we don't just move people — we empower communities.

Our values — Care, Share, Dare, Deliver — guide everything we do.What You'll DoSupport routine and non routine asset, fleet, depot, and infrastructure maintenance activitiesPrepare vehicles, components, tools, and work areas for maintenance and inspection tasksAssist trades staff with inspections, component handling, installation, and removal under supervisionIdentify, report, and escalation defects, damage, and safety concernsMaintain fleet presentation through internal, external, engine bay,



and under body cleaningAssist with depot, workshop, and building maintenance, including cleaning and basic repairsSupport breakdown response activities and service changeovers to maintain operational continuityCollect, deliver, and manage parts, materials, and equipment as requiredTransport fleet vehicles to and from suppliers and external contractorsAssist with fleet movements to support asset availabilityProvide flexible, team based support across the Asset Maintenance function to meet operational needsWhat You BringPrevious experience in a workshop, transport, or industrial environmentMedium Rigid licence or the ability to obtain it.
