Veolia is seeking an experienced Senior Employee and Industrial Relations specialist to join our growing team in Pyrmont.This is an influential role for someone who enjoys working through complexity, building trusted relationships and delivering practical outcomes.
You will provide expert advice across the full ER/IR landscape, including enterprise bargaining, industrial disputes, complex case management, workplace investigations and Fair Work matters.Working across a diverse mix of operational and corporate environments, you will help strengthen ER/IR capability and shape a consistent, contemporary approach across the organisation.What's on OfferA strategic role with genuine influence across the organisationHybrid working arrangementsExposure to both operational and corporate workforcesProfessional development and clear career pathways14 weeks' paid parental leave for primary carers and four weeks for secondary carersFitness Passport, a paid volunteer day and access to our employee share planWhat You'll Be Responsible ForProviding expert ER/IR advice to leaders, HR Managers and HR Business PartnersLeading and supporting enterprise agreement planning and negotiationsManaging Fair Work and other employment-related claims from beginning to endAdvising on complex workplace investigations and disciplinary mattersSupporting dispute resolution and complex union mattersCoaching leaders and HR teams to build confidence and capabilityUsing workforce data and trends to inform decisions and ER/IR strategyWhat You'll BringSubstantial ER/IR experience within a large or complex organisationPractical knowledge of employment legislation, awards and enterprise agreementsExperience managing bargaining, investigations, disputes and complex casesStrong judgement, communication and stakeholder influencing skillsA relevant qualification or equivalent practical experienceExperience working with operational workforces, unions or matters before the Fair Work Commission will be highly regarded but is not essential.Why Veolia?
