Reporting to the Head of HSEQ based in Sydney, you will be the standalone support in the West.
You will be highly visible and working closely with operational leaders, frontline supervisors and site-based teams to elevate safety performance across a WA, SA and NT.This is far more than a compliance-focused position.
You will be a trusted business partner, actively engaging with stakeholders, coaching leaders, providing practical guidance and driving national HSEQ initiatives at a local operational level.You will play a key role in strengthening safety ownership, building capability within the business and ensuring consistency in safety standards across multiple locations and projects.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with operational teams across WA, NT and SA to provide practical HSEQ support and guidanceDrive national HSEQ programs and initiatives, ensuring successful implementation at a regional levelConduct site visits, audits, inspections and risk assessments across operational locationsCoach,



mentor and support supervisors and leaders in developing positive safety behavioursLead incident investigations and support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiativesFacilitate toolbox talks, safety forums and operational engagement activitiesAnalyse safety trends and identify opportunities to improve performance and reduce riskBuild strong relationships that promote accountability and genuine safety ownershipAbout YouYou are an experienced HSEQ professional who understands that strong safety cultures are built through relationships, credibility and visible leadership.
