When you join us, you will be provided with not-for-profit salary packaging benefits and the support of an experienced leadership team.Business Analyst – FinanceLocation: Epping Head Office, NSWEmployment Type: Full Time, 12-Month Fixed Term Contract with possible extension.About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support our Finance, Procurement and ERP transformation initiatives, with a key focus on Procure-to-Pay and Financial ERP.The Business Analyst will lead the analysis, documentation, and optimisation of Finance, Procurement, and Accounts Payable processes to support the successful delivery of Procure to Pay and Financial ERP business transformation initiatives.
The role will work closely with project team, Finance, Procurement, Account Payable teams, Southern Cross Care Support Office and operational teams across NSW and ACT.
The role is responsible for requirements gathering and documentation, current and future business process mapping, Financial ERP solution delivery support, stakeholder engagement, and business change activities to ensure successful project outcomes and adoption of future-state ways of working.The role will also contribute to business case development, change impact assessments, process standardisation,



work instruction and role-base procedures documentation and the successful adoption of new ways of working.Business Analysis & RequirementsFacilitate workshops, interviews, and observation activities to understand operational needsTranslate business needs into clear, structured requirements, user stories, and functional specificationsMaintain requirements traceability across the full delivery lifecycleEnsure alignment between business needs and delivered solutionsSupport the development of business cases and documentation as requiredContinuous Improvement & Process OptimisationAnalyse current-state processes to identify opportunities to simplify, strengthen, and standardiseDevelop clear future-state process maps to support efficient and consistent ways of workingSupport the execution and implementation of continuous improvement initiativesPromote process standardisation and improved workflows across teamsContribute to a culture of ongoing improvement and operational excellenceData Analysis & Solution DevelopmentAnalyse data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunitiesContribute to data modelling activities and support data-informed decision-makingWork closely with delivery teams to support solution design and functional outcomesEnsure solutions are practical, usable, and aligned to operational needsSupport validation that solutions meet requirements and deliver intended outcomesProject Planning & Delivery SupportSupport project planning activities, including timelines, dependencies, and deliverablesContribute to project coordination to ensure smooth and effective deliveryParticipate in testing, UAT, and validation activitiesSupport implementation and transition activities across teamsWork closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to maintain explicit communication and alignment
