systems and processesOngoing professional development and trainingFlexible working arrangements for the right personProfessional, supportive team environmentFree onsite parking and convenient public transportThe OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to take ownership of three critical areas across the firm:Client relationshipsTeam leadership and developmentTechnical quality and reviewYou will manage relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family groups and privately owned businesses, lead a team across Australia and offshore, and act as a senior technical resource for complex accounting and tax matters.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes initiative, drives outcomes and enjoys making a genuine impact on clients, people and firm performance.Client LeadershipYou will be the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of premium clients and become their trusted adviser.Responsibilities include:Managing relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family groups, companies and trustsLeading client meetings and communicating complex issues clearlyIdentifying tax,



structuring and commercial opportunities and risksCoordinating with external advisers where requiredManaging client expectations, deadlines and service deliveryStrong communication and relationship management skills are essential.Team LeadershipThis is a genuine people management role with responsibility for leading and developing accounting staff across local and offshore teams.You will:Oversee workflow, capacity planning and job allocationMonitor deadlines and resolve workflow bottlenecksProvide guidance, feedback and technical supportTrain, mentor and develop team membersFoster collaboration between local and offshore staffMaintain accountability and high performance across the teamWe are looking for a proactive leader who stays ahead of issues and helps others succeed.Technical OversightYou will play a key role in maintaining the firm's technical standards and reviewing complex work.Responsibilities include:Reviewing and finalising financial statements and tax returnsReviewing work prepared by junior, intermediate and senior accountantsAdvising on complex tax and structuring mattersIdentifying risks, issues and opportunitiesMaintaining quality and consistency across the teamYou don't need to know every answer, but you do need the judgement to identify issues, investigate them and see them through to resolution.Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
