Our team members are dedicated and passionate and we have an exciting opportunity for a casual Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team.Reporting to the Food & Beverage Operations Manager, the Food & Beverage Attendant will support the efficient day to day operations of our Food & Beverage outlets.
The successful individual will be passionate about providing a warm, welcoming and professional guest service.
You will be required to provide efficient food and beverage service whilst maintaining a high standard of presentation and following all company policies and procedures.
This position is the perfect opportunity to be part of a supportive, friendly and passionate team and further develop your hospitality career.Key responsibilities for the role include:Provide friendly, efficient and professional food and beverage serviceUndertake general waiting duties including serving food and beverages and clearing tablesAssist with the responsible service and sale of liquorGreet and seat guests and assist with reservationsProvide room service and delivery duties as requiredAccurately process guest payments and follow all cashiering proceduresAssist with the day to day operation of the Food & Beverage departmentMaintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and groomingAttend training sessions and team meetings as requiredWork closely with other Food & Beverage personnel in a supportive and versatile manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guestsReport any unsafe practices or situations to the manager on dutyAny other ad hoc responsibilities as requiredTo succeed in this role you will not only be reliable and a great communicator but will also possess the following attributes:A friendly disposition and genuine passion for the hospitality industryAbility to work autonomously as well as part of a teamA team player attitude and ability to build positive working relationshipsAbility to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and proceduresPunctual and reliable with a strong work ethicClear and confident communication skillsA willingness to learn and develop within the hospitality industryHigh standard of presentation and groomingCurrent Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificationVictorian Food Handlers Certificate is highly regardedThis role is offered on a casual basis and your availability to work a 7-day rotating roster is required, this includes days, weekends and public holidays.
