Coal LSL is a Federal Government corporation that manages portable long service leave entitlements for eligible workers in the black coal mining industry.

About the role
Reporting to the Enterprise Portfolio Lead, you'll provide end-to-end leadership across a significant portfolio of technology initiatives, translating strategic priorities into practical, well-governed programs of work.
A major initial focus will be mobilising Coal LSL's multi-year IT Strategy, alongside providing oversight across existing and emerging initiatives spanning cyber security, data sensitivity and information management, AI and broader technology transformation.
You'll operate at both a strategic and hands-on level, working closely with Project Managers, technical SMEs, senior leaders and external partners to maintain alignment and delivery momentum.
Key responsibilities
Lead the mobilisation and delivery of the multi-year IT StrategyOversee multiple concurrent technology projects and workstreamsEstablish integrated program plans,



governance and reporting frameworksManage risks, dependencies, resources, budgets and delivery prioritiesLead senior stakeholder engagement and program steering groupsCoordinate Project Managers, technical SMEs, vendors and delivery partnersProvide hands-on program/project leadership when required
About you
We're looking for an experienced Technology Program Manager who is comfortable navigating complexity and operating with a high degree of autonomy.
You'll ideally bring:
Experience leading complex, multi-stream technology programsStrong technical acumen across areas such as cyber, data, digital or infrastructureStrong program governance, planning, risk and dependency management capabilityExcellent senior stakeholder engagement and influencing skillsThe ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholdersExperience leading cross-functional teams, Project Managers and external partnersRelevant program management qualifications/certifications will be highly regarded
