You'll own medium-term and integrated planning across Australian and New Zealand operations as well as trading and shipping, turning complex data into clear insights that senior leaders can act on.

Within ***** months, the team is expected to evolve into a Centre of Excellence, and you'll shape what it looks like, what analytics it owns, and what stays with the business.What you'll doLead planning and analysis that supports commercial decisions, tactical analysis and medium-term planningBuild and develop a high-performing analytics team and define its scope and operating modelUnderstand the end-to-end supply chain and value chain, and translate the numbers into the "so what" for the businessReview current analytical methods and introduce future best practiceShape and deliver a change plan,



partnering with stakeholders across every part of the businessPresent and test recommendations with senior leadersYour first 3 monthsGet to know the supply chain and develop a roadmap for the teamLearn the current analytical approach and propose better practicesHelp shape the change plan and gain buy-in from senior stakeholdersAbout youStrong experience in planning, value chain, commercial analysis and analytics, with the ability to see the story behind the dataA solid grasp of how a supply chain works, beyond spreadsheet modellingExperience leading or building teams, ideally at a scale that required you to define how analytics should be structuredComfortable handling pressure and ambiguity, with the resilience to tackle problems that stakeholders want solvedHigh emotional intelligence and credibility with senior stakeholdersAn engineering, commercial or analytical background; finance qualifications are welcome, but this isn't a traditional finance roleExperience in fuels, energy, mining or resources is advantageous, but not essential.
