This is a hands-on payroll role, ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the detail while also leading a small offshore payroll team.About the role:Lead and participate in end-to-end payroll processing across weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrollsManage and support a team of two Senior Payroll Officers based offshoreReview and validate payroll outputs, reconciliations and payroll variancesAct as the escalation point for complex payroll queriesWork closely with HR, Finance and operational stakeholdersEnsure compliance with Australian legislation, awards, enterprise agreements, superannuation and taxation requirementsSupport process improvements, SOPs,



automation and system enhancementsAssist with payroll reporting, audits and broader payroll initiativesAbout you:Experience with Chris21 / iChris is essential3-5+ years' Australian payroll experience within a multi-site environmentStrong end-to-end payroll processing experienceSolid knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards and superannuationPrevious experience supervising, mentoring or leading payroll staffStrong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlinesConfident stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
