You'll also have access to generous staff discounts, birthday leave, well-being days and a range of career development opportunities to support your growth.THE ROLEReporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, the purpose of this role is to support the Accounts Receivable processes and systems by ensuring payments are received in a timely manner, accurately recorded and discrepancies resolved.
Previous experience within a high-volume retail environment would be highly regarded.Key Responsibilities IncludeOwn and manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable ledger, ensuring accurate records, timely collections and adherence to payment termsProcess and allocate customer payments, invoices, credit notes and journals accurately and efficientlyMonitor overdue receivables and liaise with internal and external customers to resolve account queries and payment issuesPerform customer account reconciliations,



investigate discrepancies and maintain accurate debtor recordsCreate and maintain new customer accounts, including debtor master files and credit checks, in line with company policies and controlsSupport month-end and year-end processes, including statements, reporting, write-offs, audits and financial reconciliationsAbout YouTo be successful, you will have:Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)Previous experience in Outstanding Plains or Similar ERP systems will be highly regardedIntermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel e.g. Vlookup and Pivot TablesStrong numerical skillsHighly organised, good time management and prioritisation skillsStrong attention to detail and a high level of accuracyEffective communication skills, both written and verbalProven skills using your initiative and being proactiveWell-rounded skills working effectively within a team, whilst being able to work independently when requiredAbout Beacon LightingOur story began in Melbourne in **** with a single store and the drive to brighten up people's lives.
