We are looking for someone who can confidently contribute across day-to-day farm operations and assist with maintaining and improving the property.HoursMonday to Friday – 6:00 am to 3:00 pmKey ResponsibilitiesGeneral farming and property maintenanceFencing construction, repairs and maintenanceWelding and fabrication associated with farm maintenance and infrastructureDevelopment and maintenance of farm water systemsTractor and agricultural machinery operationOperating spray rigs and spreading equipmentPlanting and pasture establishment activitiesHay making and silage operationsGeneral machinery and equipment checksAssisting with farm improvement and development projectsGeneral farm labouring and upkeep dutiesWorking safely in accordance with WHS requirements and site proceduresAbout YouYou are a reliable, practical and self-motivated Farmhand who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining equipment, infrastructure and agricultural land.You are comfortable working independently when required, while also contributing positively as part of a small farm team.Ideal ExperiencePrevious experience in several of the following areas would be highly regarded:FencingWelding and basic fabricationFarm water systems and infrastructureTractor and agricultural machinery operationSpray rig operationFertiliser or soil amendment spreadingPlanting and cropping activitiesHay makingSilage productionPasture managementGeneral farm and property maintenanceMachinery maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshootingExperience operating John Deere machinery and GreenStar GPS systems would be advantageous but is not essential.What We OfferFull-time permanent employmentMonday to Friday roster6:00 am to 3:00 pm working hoursStable, long-term employment with an established Queensland employerVaried and practical farm workOpportunity to work across farming, infrastructure and property development activitiesSupportive team environmentLocationThis position is based in Coominya, QLD.Applicants should live within reasonable commuting distance or be willing to relocate independently.
