We are looking for a Boilermaker join the well-established Qube team in the Northern Goldfields, for the Thunderbox site operations.
The primary role of the Boilermaker is to assist in maintaining the upkeep & maintenance of fleets of prime movers, earthmoving equipment and all mechanical equipment operational and serviced, maintained and repaired as needed in accordance with site requirements.A suitable candidate will have excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work under pressure, independently & collaboratively within a team environment.What are we offering?

Certificate III in Engineering, Fabrication & Welding qualificationsCurrent High Risk Work LicenceMust hold (or have ability to obtain) current Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry & Gas Testing Atmospheres ticketsSuitable Trade Qualification or CertificationMust have minimum 1 years' qualified industry experienceDemonstrated working experience with heavy vehicles & heavy machinery (Kenworth, Volvo & Mack Prime Movers, side-tippers, bowl tippers, belly dumpers, Cats, Cummins etc.)Experience in a heavy transport or mining industries (highly regarded)Heavy duty work on buckets welding and G.E.T replacement and repairsTrailer buildering or body building fabrication experienceAbility to read & interpret drawings and work to OEM design specs for repairsNational Police Clearance – dated within last 12 months of applicationGood mechanical aptitudeAbility to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screeningStrong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a variety of peopleStrong analytical thinker with an ability to make concise and compelling decisionsAbility to maintain accurate records of work completedAt Qube we value diversity in the workplace and encourages applications from people of all backgrounds.
