You will play a critical role in ensuring garments meet rigorous Australian and international standards, while delivering consistency across fit, grading and construction.This is a hands-on technical position where your expertise in garment construction, grading and quality assurance will directly impact the final product.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain detailed garment tech packs and specification documentsCreate and manage measurement reference pages and grading specificationsReview, comment on and approve development samples, pre-production samples and shipment samplesLiaise with factories and offshore QC teams to resolve fit, measurement and construction issuesAnticipate and troubleshoot potential quality,



workmanship and fabrication concernsEnsure consistency of grading and fit across product rangesMaintain strict quality assurance standards and reduce production issuesSupport Design and Production teams with technical guidance and product development inputRespond promptly to factory and production queries to maintain timelinesTo be successful in this role, you will have:3–5+ years' experience in a Garment Technician or Patternmaker capacity within the apparel industryStrong technical knowledge of garment construction, fabric performance and grading rulesExperience creating comprehensive tech packs and managing QA approvalsIntermediate skills in Adobe Illustrator and ExcelSolid understanding of the manufacturing process, including offshore productionExperience across menswear or womenswearA highly organised, detail-oriented and deadline-driven approachIf you are a technically robust Garment Technician who values quality, precision and consistency, we would love to hear from you.Must have permanent and unrestricted working rights in Australia to be considered.
