Marine Technician – Church Point Marina, PittwaterMinter Marine is expanding to Pittwater — and we're looking for an experienced Marine Technician to join our new Church Point Marina team.Minter Marine is excited to announce the opening of our new marine service operation at Church Point Marina, Pittwater.With established operations in Rozelle and Point Piper, Minter Marine is a well-regarded marine services business with a strong reputation for quality workmanship, customer service and technical expertise across the Sydney boating industry.Our new Pittwater operation will provide:Inboard engine servicing and repairsAll-brand outboard servicing and repairsMarine diagnostics and maintenanceShipwright servicesBoat brokerage and salesThe OpportunityWe are seeking a Marine Technician to join our growing team at Church Point.This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to work on a diverse range of vessels, from recreational boats and cruisers through to high-performance craft.The successful candidate will be an important part of establishing and growing our Pittwater operation, with opportunities to take responsibility for projects, work directly with customers and, where appropriate, mentor apprentices and junior technicians.About the RoleYour responsibilities will include:Servicing, maintaining and repairing inboard and outboard enginesDiagnosing and fault-finding mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systemsWorking on propulsion, fuel,



steering and hydraulic systemsCarrying out marine servicing and preventative maintenanceUsing advanced diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faultsWorking on a range of marine brands and vessel typesManaging workshop and marina-based jobs from diagnosis through to completionMaintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and customer serviceProviding customers with professional advice regarding servicing, repairs and upgradesSupporting and mentoring apprentices and junior techniciansAbout YouWe are looking for someone who is:A qualified and experienced Marine TechnicianStrong mechanically and electrically, with good diagnostic and fault-finding skillsExperienced working on both inboard and outboard enginesExperienced with modern marine diagnostic systems and technologyYamaha experience is highly regarded, but experience across multiple brands is welcomedA qualified Automotive or Motorcycle Technician looking to transition into the marine industry will also be consideredReliable, punctual and professionalWell presented with strong communication and customer service skillsAble to work independently while also contributing to a teamPassionate about boats, engines and the marine industryCommitted to quality workmanship and getting the job done right the first timeHold a current Australian driver's licenceWhy Join Minter Marine?
