Rocky Bay is looking for an HR Systems Analyst to join our team and play a key role in supporting and improving our HR, payroll and corporate systems.
About the role
In this role, you will provide both business and technical support across Rocky Bay's HR and corporate systems, working closely with internal stakeholders, vendors and our Service Desk team.
You will:
Provide support for HR and payroll systems including PayGlobal and MyHRInvestigate system issues, coordinate resolutions and work with vendors to implement improvementsGather and analyse business requirements and translate them into practical system solutionsMap and improve business processes and workflowsManage system configurations, upgrades and improvementsDevelop and maintain reports, including custom reporting and SQL-based solutionsProvide system training and support to staffFacilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings and document requirements and outcomesLead and coordinate small to medium ICT projectsIdentify opportunities to improve systems, processes and reporting across Rocky BayProvide technical support and guidance to Service Desk team membersBuild strong relationships across the organisation to understand business needs and deliver effective solutions.
About you:
At least 2 years' experience supporting HR and payroll application systems,



ideally including PayGlobal and/or MyHRAt least 2 years' experience in business analysis and requirements gatheringAt least 1 year's experience developing SQL code and creating customised reportsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsThe ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutionsExperience managing projects, processes and competing priorities.
Experience with the following would be highly regarded:
Microsoft SQL Reporting ServicesSalesforce and SkeduloHRIS, payroll or workforce management systems and integrationsData warehouse developmentProject management.
