What you'll be doing
Carrying out maintenance, servicing and repairs on underground mobile plant
Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults
Completing preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
Working on underground hard rock mining equipment, including loaders, boggers, underground trucks and drills
Ensuring all maintenance is completed safely and to a high standard
Working collaboratively with site teams to minimise equipment downtime
What we're looking for
Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, Diesel Fitting or equivalent trade qualification
Previous experience as an Underground Diesel Fitter in
hard rock mining
Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and mechanical repair skills
Experience with underground mobile equipment such as Sandvik, Epiroc, CAT or similar OEMs
A solid commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required
Current Australian working rights
