Warehouse & Yard Lead - Landscaping Depot, Burwood (Vic)
Must Have Maintenance is one of Melbourne's leading garden and landscape maintenance companies. Our crews look after premium residential and commercial properties across the eastern suburbs, and everything they need runs through our warehouse in Burwood. We're looking for someone to take ownership of it.
The role
You run the depot. Stock levels, supplier pickups, green waste disposal, and keeping the warehouse organised so our gardening and landscaping teams get out the gate every morning with what they need. There's a clear system behind all of it - your job is to follow it, keep it humming, and improve it where you see a better way.
What you'll do day to day
Keep the warehouse stocked and stock levels accurate: fuel, mulch, soil, sand, consumables and parts
Collect plants from nurseries and supplies from Bunnings, trade suppliers and other outlets for the crews
Organise and carry out green waste disposal - loading, tip runs with the ute and trailer, keeping the yard clear
Keep the depot tidy, safe and set up so crews can load fast
Spot what's running low, broken or missing before anyone has to ask
Who this suits
You like being trusted to get on with it. You'd rather be handed a process, shown how it works and left to run it properly than have someone over your shoulder.

You follow systems because they make the job easier, and you take the initiative to fix what isn't right. If you've worked in a warehouse, trade supply yard or logistics, you'll settle in fast. If you haven't, but you're organised, practical and reliable, we'll train you.
What you need
A full Australian driver's licence - essential, you're on the road most days
Trailer towing experience, or a genuine willingness to learn (we'll teach you)
Able to handle a physical role: loading and unloading, regular lifting of bags and equipment, outdoor work
Reliability and a sense of ownership over your area
Warehouse or logistics experience is a strong plus
Living near Burwood or the eastern suburbs is a real advantage - this is a depot-based role, so the commute is short if you're local
What we offer
$32-$36 per hour plus super, full time, Monday to Friday
Genuine autonomy: this is your warehouse to run, with proven systems to help you do it well
A stable, well-run business with a reputation for doing things properly
A team that backs each other, celebrates the wins and keeps things easy
Friday food and drinks with the whole crew to close out the week
Ongoing coaching and room to grow with the business
