JSW has been supporting communities in the South West since ****, helping people get jobs, get qualified and find their feet.
We are a one stop shop for careers, training and employment advice and assistance. Our services are free and accessible to all members of the community. We have centres located on TAFE campuses and additional locations in the South West region.
We provide professional and practical advice on training and employment opportunities for employers and business as well as specialist support services for Aboriginal people, ex-offenders, and people from a culturally or linguistically diverse background.
Our team is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Career Development Officer to join our Jobs & Skills Centre team in Manjimup for the equivalent of 3 days a week – and based at the local Tafe. This is a part-time, temporary role for 12 months, with flexible, family friendly working hours.



You will be based in Manjimup and we are looking for someone to commence in January ****, although we would require a handover towards the end of this year.
About You
You will possess excellent communication, computer, and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated and have the ability to work autonomously with valuable time management.You will have demonstrated work experience being able to help clients develop resumes, cover letters, assist with interview techniques, and job search skills. You will have the ability to work with a diverse cohort. You will also have experience working in partnership with other stakeholders.
