About the role
As a Duty Manager at the Roxburgh Park Hotel you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of this exciting and dynamic hotel. Working on a full-time basis, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the hotel, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and leading your team to deliver an unparalleled guest experience.
What you'll be doing
Deliver efficient and friendly service to all our customers
Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, including but not limited to the Gaming room, buffet, sportsbar, TAB and Bottleshop
Ensure all hotel policies and procedures are adhered to, while also identifying areas for improvement
Lead and motivate staff across different departments, providing training and development opportunities to help them excel
Manage the hotel's inventory, including monitoring stock levels, and coordinating maintenance were applicable
Contribute to the development and implementation of the hotel's strategic plans and initiatives
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and venue presentation
Follow all relevant Liquor, Gaming and workplace health and safety requirements
Communicate operational issues and updates to Senior Management
What we're looking for
Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry,



with a strong understanding of hotel operations
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to think quickly to resolve issues
Strong leadership and people management capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
Proficient in using hotel management software and other relevant technology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both guests and colleagues
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
