We are seeking an
experienced and reliable Marrel Skip Bin Truck Driver
to join our growing waste management team based in Thomastown.
This is a casual position offering full-time hours for the right candidate.
The successful applicant must hold a
current HR driver's license, be competent driving a manual truck, and have previous experience operating a Marrel skip bin truck.
We are looking for someone who is confident operating the truck independently, understands all truck functions, and can safely and efficiently complete daily skip bin deliveries, collections and waste disposal.
About the Role

experienced and reliable Marrel Skip Bin Truck Driver
to join our growing waste management team based in Thomastown.

current HR driver's license, be competent driving a manual truck, and have previous experience operating a Marrel skip bin truck.
We are looking for someone who is confident operating the truck independently, understands all truck functions, and can safely and efficiently complete daily skip bin deliveries, collections and waste disposal.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver empty skip bins to residential, commercial and construction sites across Melbourne.
Collect and transport full skip bins from customer sites.
Transport and tip waste materials at designated waste disposal and recycling facilities.
Confidently operate all Marrel truck functions,



including hydraulic lifting, loading, unloading and tipping operations.
Safely perform different tipping and unloading procedures depending on site requirements.
Ensure skip bins are correctly positioned, secured and transported safely.
Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic vehicle inspections.
Maintain a clean and safe truck.
Follow all road safety, workplace health and safety, and waste disposal procedures.
Communicate professionally with customers, site supervisors and management.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants
must have:
Current HR (Heavy Rigid) driver's license.
Experience driving a manual HR truck.
Previous experience operating a Marrel skip bin truck.
Thorough knowledge of Marrel hydraulic systems and truck operating functions.
Demonstrated ability to safely load, unload and tip skip bins independently.
Experience transporting and disposing of waste at transfer stations and waste facilities.
Robust awareness of road safety, load restraints and safe operating procedures.
Good time management and the ability to work independently.
Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
Please note: Previous Marrel skip bin truck operating experience is essential. This is not an entry-level driver position.
