Woodbine Inc. is a leading disability provider located in Warracknabeal. We are currently seeking a skilled, energetic and responsible person to fill the position of temporary Team Leader within Woodbine Accommodation Services at Steinmeyer Villa. Steinmeyer is home to 7 people with support needs. This is a 12 month contract.
The rostered position is for a minimum of 68 hours per fortnight, with the opportunity to work up to 76 hours a fortnight. The position includes dedicated administration time.
This key rostered position represents an exciting prospect for a suitably qualified and/or experienced individual with an interest in developing their leadership and management skills. The successful applicant will be responsible for the efficient and effective day to day operation of Steinmeyer Villa. The Team Leader will provide leadership, guidance and support to a team of staff and, in consultation with the Manager of Home and Living , will ensure that every individual resident receives uninterrupted, high quality support.
The successful candidate will have:




Relevant industry based qualifications and/or experience.
An interest in developing their leadership and management skills.
An understanding of the implementation of the NDIS and the NDIS Practice Standards.
Excellent time management and communication skills.
A commitment to the inclusion of people with a disability into the local community.
A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check prior to commencement.
Applicants must hold and maintain a current Victorian Drivers Licence as well as Level 2 First Aid and CPR certificates.
The position is for 12 months and a three (3) month probationary period will apply.
