Manage a diverse range of urgent presentations, enjoy the support of an experienced clinical team, and have greater control over your working schedule.
Urgent Care Network Australia is inviting
Vocationally Registered GPs (FRACGP/FACRRM)
to join our team at our government-funded Urgent Care Centre in Melton.
Why GPs are choosing urgent care
Flexibility that works around you
No overnight shifts or on-call
Competitive remuneration
Work alongside experienced, ED-trained nurses, administration staff and operational support
Freedom to maintain other commitments - no lock-in contracts or exclusivity
Put your GP skills to work in a different setting
At our Melton centre, you'll assess and treat patients with urgent, non-life-threatening conditions in a purpose-built clinical environment that brings together the accessibility of general practice and the pace and variety of urgent care. You'll have established clinical pathways and a multidisciplinary team to support you, so you can focus on delivering quality patient care.
You'll need:
Vocational registration as a GP — FRACGP or FACRRM.
Unrestricted AHPRA registration.
ALS certification, or a willingness to maintain it.
Why Melton?
Join a growing community west of Melbourne, with a diverse patient population and increasing demand for healthcare services. Melton offers convenient access to Melbourne and regional Victoria, making it an attractive location for GPs seeking a change of pace without moving away from the city.
Interested in a more flexible way to practise?
If you're a VR GP looking to complement your existing general practice, add variety to your clinical work, and explore a more flexible way of practising, we'd love to hear from you.
