Hybrid role with flexibility to work from home
Are you an experienced Property Manager, an inspections officer looking to take the next step, or someone eager to start a career in property management?
At Jump Real Estate, we're doing property management differently. We're a boutique, property-management-focused agency, and we're looking for a motivated, organised and enthusiastic person to join our Wide Bay team, based in Hervey Bay.
Our Wide Bay office specialises in managing newly constructed residential properties across Hervey Bay, Maryborough and Bundaberg. This is an exciting opportunity to work with brand-new homes from builder handover and marketing through to leasing and ongoing property management.
As one of Wide Bay's fastest growing property management agencies, we're passionate about delivering an exceptional experience for our clients while creating a workplace where our team can thrive. We don't believe great property management happens by chance. It comes from the right people, the right systems, ongoing training and a culture where everyone feels supported.
Unlike traditional agencies where property management competes with sales for attention, property management is our entire focus. It's what we specialise in, what we're passionate about and where we continue to invest our time, energy and resources.
What you'll be doing
You'll take ownership of a small residential portfolio specialising in newly constructed properties across Hervey Bay, Maryborough and Bundaberg. You'll be involved in the process from the completion of construction through to marketing, leasing and ongoing property management, building strong, lasting relationships with landlords, tenants and builders along the way.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a residential portfolio, from new managements through to vacates
Building and maintaining positive relationships with landlords and tenants through clear, proactive communication
Coordinating and conducting builder handover inspections for newly constructed homes, identifying outstanding items and helping ensure properties are ready for the rental market
Working closely with builders to coordinate the transition of completed properties into the rental portfolio
Using the latest technology to film virtual tours of properties for marketing purposes, showcasing homes to prospective tenants and helping generate leasing interest
Coordinating property advertising, leasing and tenant applications to minimise vacancy periods
Coordinating maintenance and working with reliable trades to ensure jobs are completed properly
Conducting entry, routine and exit inspections and maintaining clear, accurate records
Working with our virtual assistant support and AI tools to streamline administration and improve efficiency
Contributing ideas and helping us continually improve our systems, processes and client service
You'll have the responsibility and autonomy to manage your portfolio professionally, backed by experienced leadership, practical support and systems designed to help you succeed. The role also provides the flexibility to work from home when possible.
About you
Whether you already have experience managing a portfolio, have a background in property inspections or are looking for an opportunity to build your skills and establish yourself in the industry, we're interested in hearing from you. This is a hybrid role that we can create around your experience level - from field agent to senior property manager. We're looking for the right attitude, a willingness to learn and someone who shares our commitment to delivering exceptional service.
You'll bring:
A current Queensland Real Estate Registration Certificate or Full Real Estate Licence (essential)
A current driver's licence (essential) and the ability to travel throughout the Wide Bay region
Previous experience in property management, property inspections or a strong interest in building a career in the industry
Good communication and relationship-building skills
Strong organisation skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
A professional, solutions-focused attitude and a willingness to learn
Confidence using technology and an interest in embracing new systems and processes
A positive, team-oriented attitude and a genuine desire to deliver great service
A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to embrace technology and new ways of working
Confidence working with builders, tradespeople and other industry professionals
An interest in property marketing and using technology to create virtual tours and showcase properties
Experience with newly constructed properties or builder handovers would be an advantage, but a willingness to learn and a proactive attitude are equally important.
Most importantly, you're looking for more than just your next job. You want to be part of a business that values your contribution, supports your development and gives you a genuine prospect to grow.
Ready to take the next step?
Whether you're an experienced Property Manager, an inspections officer ready for a new opportunity, or looking to get your foot in the door and start your property management career, we'd love to hear from you.
At Jump Real Estate, we're building more than a property management business. We're building a team, a culture and a better way of doing things.
Join Jump Real Estate's Wide Bay team in Hervey Bay and discover what your career could look like with the right support behind you.
