As a Compounding Pharmacy Lab Technician at PharmacySmart Compounding, you will play a vital role in supporting our team of expert pharmacists in the preparation and quality control of customised medications. This is a full-time position based in our facility in Balwyn North, VIC. For the right candidate, a position may also be available at our East Melbourne location.
What you'll be doing
Accurately measure, mix and prepare a variety of compounded medications, including creams, ointments, solutions, and suspensions
Conduct quality assurance testing on compounded products to ensure they meet strict safety and potency standards
Maintain meticulous records and documentation throughout the compounding process
Assist in the daily operations of the pharmacy lab, including equipment maintenance and inventory management
Collaborate with pharmacists to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the compounding process
Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a compounding pharmacy technician or in a similar role (highly desirable)
A Certificate III or IV in Pharmacy, or equivalent qualification is desirable (but not mandatory)




Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Proficient in the use of laboratory equipment and techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
Strong communication
