Role and Responsibilities:
Lead a team of 20+ staff delivering high-quality open space and grounds maintenance.
Oversee a $3M+ contract, driving performance, profitability and service excellence.
Manage turf maintenance programs, including the preparation and upkeep of sporting wickets.
Build strong client relationships and act as the key point of contact for contract delivery.
Oversee playground maintenance, inspections and ongoing service requirements.
Coordinate minor infrastructure maintenance and improvement works across multiple sites.




Support ecological management and environmental maintenance initiatives.
Lead workforce planning, scheduling, resource allocation and team development.
Monitor budgets, labour costs, equipment and materials to achieve financial targets.
Maintain exceptional safety, quality and compliance standards across all operations.
Identify opportunities to improve productivity, service delivery and contract performance
What will you need?
Experience in contract management, open space maintenance, horticulture, turf management or a related industry.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead, develop and motivate a team across multiple sites.
A current driver's licence, manual or automatic.
Robust communication and client relationship skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding service.
The ability to manage budgets, resources and operational priorities effectively.
A commitment to workplace health and safety, quality and environmental standards.
A current National Police Check, or the ability to obtain one.
A current Working With Children Check, or the ability to obtain one.
